Band, prom and everything nice. hahaha. (bersiar-siar di desa)XD

Band. haha. a month ago(very long ago) i switched from colour guard to school band. cause ze said her junior wanted to join colour guard very badly and she transfered from percussion to cg just to find out theres no place for her. and also i wanted to experience what it was like to be in an actual band and also learn new instruments(for free XD).it is, after all, my very last year in our beloved school. *sniff* so i switched to trombone. and jeez. the first few times blowing sounded very similar to somebody releasing gas. hahaha. and slowly i learn how blow, tightening lower lip and stuff. haha. i can play... but the sound produced is not... refined. haha. but not bad la for one day. haha. learnt the formation and everything.. band is..... hot. haha. surprisingly i didn't get yelled at. i think its more because i'm not really a band member so they didn't dare to shout at me. haha.i liked k.azrene. she's nice. haha. but my junior said its because i didn't see her at her worst yet. so oh well. *shrugs* haha. my juniors was nice. haha. actually everyone at band was pretty friendly.

The countings are always in our heads. ahah. reinu said she was always going 1,2,3,4 in hear brain and actually dreamt about it too! haha. i liked doing follow the leader. dunno why. just syiok. hahaha. but band=sun. we stayed out in the sun the whole day(practically) haha. under the hot blazing sun. is it any wonder that my skin has been so very the active in producing melanin. as a result, i am now not like a malay, instead, i look like an indian. -.- or a very dark chindian. kinda like euodi. theres a BIG contrast in my colour now. like this:





yeah. thats my upper arm, and my lower arm. i know, haha. when i get goosebumps, the goosebumps are my original skin colour. so my arm looks diseased cause it has white spots whenever i get goosebumps. freaky, really. a week later ppl start saying i'm growing fair again but i'm only gonna be convinced when the two dots that my specs covered is the same colour as the rest of my face. haha. i think i'm the darkest among cyn,py,gp, zy and june. haha. cause i seldom used sunblock. i think i used for 2 days. haha. oh well. theres always a first time. mei jian, my junior is damn funny. we speak to each other in mandarin. how amazing is that. haha. i actually managed to converse in mandarin. *something i seem to be unable to do with anybody else* one day during practice she said to me in mandarin, "i have a stomach ache la", so i told her, "go toilet la". she pondered for a moment then said "ya hor, i'm going to the toilet" and marches off. i was like. hahaha.swt la she. liyana wears a pink bra. hahahaha. june was the first one to note it. hahaha. najihah is more.... tight. haha. she's like too serious the day before band competition. kinda like ze yin. hahahahha. made loads of new friends. the trumpeters. haha. did you know their not allowed to read or hold a storybook? haha. i'd die. haha.so the day of the performance, we didn't practice cause they wanted us to rest and to gel my hair. i HATE gel. you'll know why later. so as my juniors tried to comb my hair into the bun, they applied like quarter bottle of gel on my hair. ughhh.. haha. and oh crap. i just realised i forgot to take a pic of me wearing the band uniform. *gasp* now i'll never remember what i look like in the uniform. gahhhh. wearing the hat (or charcoal as they call it) was hot. but fun. haha. i like to nod my head with it. ahaha. and i sweated like gallons in the band uniform. then we got up the bus and set off to where the band comp was held. the percussion members started crying because of nervousness. there was a cute percussionist who plays the bass drum. she looks so like the thai princess in anna and the king. haha. anyway, at the comp, our formation was much worse than when we practiced. our straight line looked like a total mess. and i forgot to lock my trombone before the comp*facepalms*. and one of my shoelace came undone. and there was a hole in the middle of the field. no wonder the tubaist from the other school fell earlier. thank god i didn't fall. i stepped in it though. i was like praying i don't trip, or my hat to fall, or my trombone to come apart. jeez. and so it ended. three weeks of practice. i didn't think we could win, i thought the colour guards would win. and yet i held hope as they announced the third prize. but alas. najihah was crying. i didn't know what to say to her. the cgs was crying too.

i thought our cgs was better than theirs. but i liked their flags. it has like curved lines so if you turn it its nice... our cgs did more variety of things. theirs are just.. lots of dominoes and for the toss they did a solo. nyeh. anyway, i seriously gained experience anyways. haha. i know everyone says this when you lose but seriously. with that, i can conclude that the band needs commitment. which i sadly lack. haha. so i'll say tkd is more relaxed. AND you get to kick ppls ass in tourn's if you're stressed. ;) but i don't regret joining the band this year. it was fun. =D and then it was prom. everyone was quiet on the way back. i felt like the only one who wasn't mourning. i'm sorry if i distrupted anyones solemn mood.i know how irritating it is when someones all jolly when your in a mood. i was trying to get the F5's to be in a good mood for prom and soon we were the only ones making noise in the bus.

and guess what. the band competition ended at 7.30. prom started at 6*ithink* and gp and june was talking about shaving! i was like.. what?? you ppl shave for prom??? and ze joined in saying she forgot to shave too. me and cyn was like -.-" and then gp and py wanted to go hairdresser to do their hair. i was again going WHATTTTT???? its already 7.30! by the time you finish doing your hair it would be 10! i stink like a lot. never been stinkier and comforted myself with the thought that i would bath in the hotel, but no, has things ever turned out my way. haha. oh. and i walked infront of a moving car. it stopped in time for a crazy teenager to run across the street. py and gp was determined to go do their hair. o.o and cyn wanted to buy her shoes at prangin before going. O.O so we split. me, ze, reinu and june went up to see which was our hotel room to be told by jeslynn that THERE WAS NO ROOM! they checked out at 7.00. at that point, we were all cursing. MAJORLY CURSING. i stink like mad and we were changing in the hotels toilet. ok. and THEN i find out after taking down my bun that my hair looked like something a bat has lived in. seriously. no joke. ask whoever thats seen it. meep and krystal who was in the toilet. ze, anyone in the toilet at that time. i was like.... omg. haha. never wearing gel again. EVER. and once again, i forgot to take a pic of it. was too horrified. and whenever ppl complained anything, i just said, "just thank god you don't have my hair. and we changed and i was figuring out what to do with my hair. finally tied it up like i go to school everyday. later on, everyone kept asking me why didn't i have my hair down, and i would reply "it looks 10 times worse when its down" meanwhile, me and ze kept repeating in the restroom, "best prom ever", "unforgettable night" "the prom we'll never forget" hahaha. stay positive right?? the dress was something i pulled outta my cupboard cause i didn't want to spend $$$ on a dress i'll wear for only one night. di, i could always reread my storybooks. =p to those who have facebook, i'm sure you already have seen most of the pics. haha. however, i'll post a few here. group pics. and eunice shocked me with her dress. she turned to me and looked at me. i was thinking "why was this girl looking at me" and i was like *GASP* EUNICE!!!! omg!!!! ahahaha. and i keprt staring at her. cause she looked so... unlike herself. and she said she was being ladylike.. until i arrived. hahahaha. then she started being like her old self. hahaha. so i said to her, "you have to use the utensils given to eat" *she was using her hands to eat her cookie i think* haha. so i cut up her cookie for her. and when she told me she wanted to go to the toilet i said, you should say "i would like to go to the ladies" haha. so when ari asked me where eunice was going, i said toilet. eunice turned to our table and said, "ladies". i was like hahahaha. everyone looks sooooooooo pretty at prom.and i do mean EVERYONE. with the exception of me. and june's dress looks weird... like a towel... throughout the whole thing, i only ate a plate of mee and stuff and another plate of cookies. thats all. 70 bucks for those two. the rest of the time i spent snapping pics. and even then i didn't take pics with a whole lot of ppl!! ugh. ='( oh well. =( the prom video was nice. and i appeared in a few of the pics. who did the video? does anyone know? haha. the pic of us nerds and mr lim was there too. i wonder where they got it. facebook perhaps. at the end of prom they asked us to start dancing in the dance floor. i sat and took pics with hema they all and cyn and eunice went out to the dancefloor. haha. just the two of them dancing. then i remember looking at the pics i just taken when someone grabbed me and pulled me to the dancefloor as well. i think it was cyn? anyway, i was still holding the camera and then they started raping me. hahahaha. nola. jk. they were ALL pulling at my jacket. imagine 10 hands grabbing your jacket. haha. and someone suceeded and took it away. -.- so nvm. haha. we started got dancing and everything and someone tapped my shoulder and asked if the jacket was mine..i was like yess! she asked why i threw it on the floor. -.- i said i didn't and thanked her. then gp whipped it outta my hand. haha. after awhile we stopped. i think ari was high. hahha. me and eunice popped balloons. and then it was time to go. =( my dad said he was already waiting downstairs. me, cyn, gp, py and june planned to watch midnight movie in gurney. haha. we watched movie in our prom dresses. i wanted to do something we never done before. so went like that lo. haha. we watched the last house on the left. 18 SX. the person at the counter didn't even ask if we were 18 and above. i guess she rationalized that no sane kid would come gurney at midnight wearing what we wore. hahaha. for once, cyn was not the one with the most innocent mind. there was one part where the girl got raped. the guy was pulling out her panties and stuff. after that, py asked, "what happen??" . cyn answered, "she got raped la!!" hahaha. can't believe py didn't know what happened. we were like cheering when the murderer got killed by the doctor. haha. but some parts didn't make sense. she was raped, then she escaped and swam through the river, was shot by the bad guy, yet when she crawled to her house, her umm. down there was still bleeding from the rape? i thought it got washed away when she swam? and the head exploding at the end. do heads explode? hahaha. after the movie finished, we walked barefoot. hahahah. we were all exhausted at the end. didn't get enough sleep the night before. my dad fetched us back home and we wanted to take one last pic of us in prom dress but i fell asleep on the bed. haha. all lazy to bathe except py. so straight away slept. and thats the end of my unforgettable prom night. ahah.

Oh wait. after bersiar-siar the desa, i followed ze, bernadine and jeefi to gurney. we WALKED there. as if we haven't got enough of walking. hahaha. ze ran as usual across the road. jeefi screamed as the bus was coming towards us. they really are funny ppl. hahaha. met up with nat at mph. ate lunch later. we ALWAYS eat the exact same thing whenever we go to the food court.
